Satire on Cross Country

  Do you want to run in a straight line for 20+ minutes?  Do you like it when you are ankle deep in mud and trying to go up a 60 degree incline while you  have a stomach cramp? Well if that sounds like your cup of tea, then cross country is the sport for you. At cross country you can enjoy a wide variety of different activities including running mileage, running a workout, running a race, running a warmup, and running a cooldown. Such variety.  You get to run just for the sake of running. You aren't running after a ball or a net; you are just running forward until you hit a certain distance. An activity that is punishment for other sports; HOW GREAT!?!?   You will run workouts that feel like they never end.
